I Got My Girls Hooked Into Twilight Saga

Twilight Saga is now in our household. It is an old movie way back when I was still new here in the US. Me and my friends watched the first movie and we all liked it, since then we looked forward when the new movie came out until we all finished all four. This was back before we had children, this brings back a lot of memories in our early years here in Texas.

Fast forward five years later or more, Twilight first movie became available on Netflix. I told my girls how nice this movie is and I want them to watch it, they had no interest at first but played it in front of them anyway. Little did I know, they got hooked with it and they felt disappointed knowing the second release isn’t available on Netflix yet so, I bought them the entire collection from Amazon!

Now that we have this, we all enjoy it and watch a movie each Saturday night. The set includes the Complete Saga and is worth ten hours of watching all the blu ray and digital features that’s in it.

These girls are lucky. During those times when I was addicted to this Saga, I did not even think of buying myself the dvds.

The Best Movie

My girls especially the second born have watched the Frozen movie for the nth times now. She loves it that much, just like everybody else. In fact, she wants to be called “Princess Anna” and her big sister as “Princess Elsa”. For a couple of weeks before it was available on DVD, it got me intrigued as to how nice this movie was because everybody on my Facebook list are posting videos of their children or talked about it so much.

I pre-ordered my copy on DVD since December and waited for it for almost two months. At long last, it is here and it gives my kids real entertainment, the best movie Disney ever made, I should say! It is worth the price and it is worth keeping. I am glad I bought this for us because we can watch it over and over until we get tired of it. Not to mention, it has got song lines that are very addictive. Once you hear them once or twice, you can’t help but sing along with it.

I am planning of purchasing the songs from itunes so that I don’t need to play the movie to hear the song. My girls will be delighted to just listen to it and not necessarily sit down to watch the movie at the same time listening to the beautiful song, “Let It Go”.

We skipped watching it on theater because we are living a frugal life, we were not willing to spend that much money on movies that we all know we can own and watch it at the comfort of our own home.

We have just watch The Amazing Spider-Man 2 two nights ago with our two girls. The movie was just as good as the first one although Tobey Maguire is not the Spide-Man anymore yet, I find the new actor to be realistic and yes, handsome. So that is okay with me although I was very excited to see Tobey.

Anyway, I am glad we have a PS3 and a high-def t.v to make our movie viewing fantastic. We had some popcorns and just enjoying each other’s company in the comfort of our own home. When the movie is finished, our two girls imagined and reenacted Spiderman’s action with matching sounds they make through their mouth when they release their webs from their wrist, hehe.

The big sister calls herself, Spider Girl. The small baby calls herself, Spider Baby! Aren’t they cute? The names they come up with make me giggle. Amazing imagination they have!

Warm Bodies a Nice Zombie Movie to Watch

We watched this movie titled “Warm Bodies” last night and I liked it. My husband thought it was lame at the beginning of the movie but I didn’t think that way. I loved it from start to finish. In fact, I couldn’t get enough of the movie and wanting for more when it ended.

I would say, it is a pretty nice zombie to watch unlike any other. Zombies in this movie are a little bit friendly compare to Walking Dead. It received a 4 and a half stars on Netflix, that means it is worth watching and I guarantee you, it is truly a good movie and highly recommended. Read the description below the photo.

The Conjuring in Theaters July 19 Nationwide

For sure it will be a box office hit once “The Conjuring” movie hits in theaters on July 19 nationwide. For people who are strong enough to stand the freaky, intense and creepy nature of the movie, they will watch and enjoy it. Of course, audiences with no heart disease can watch it too, lol.

As for me, no thanks. No and big no! I am so sensitive to ghost movies. How much more such a movie like this? I have watched the trailer and it is scary enough for me to be startled that I don’t think I can survive watching 30 minutes of it in the theater. Watch the video below courtesy by Youtube and let us see if it doesn’t creep the hell out of you?

The Princess and the Popstar My Girls’ Favorite Movie to Watch

I can’t blame my girls for playing this Barbie movie called, “The Princess and the Popstar” over and over again. When Megan wakes up in the morning, the first thing she ask is play the movie and I believe it is also the last thing she watches at night before she goes to bed. Yes, that is how addicted she is to it now.

I honestly finding this movie to be so good too. Whenever the Popstar sings, I can’t help but pause for a moment and watch it too. Here’s a little information of what the movie is about.

The plot focuses on Tori, the kind-hearted princess of the magical kingdom of Meribella, who would rather sing and dance than perform her royal duties. When she meets her favorite pop star Keira, the girls discover they have much in common including a magical secret that lets them look like one another and swap places. When the kingdom’s magical secret is stolen, their true friendship is tested and they discover that the best thing you can be is yourself. Lifted from its original source, WIKIPEDIA.

Princess Pop Star- The New Favorite Movie to Watch

My second born is just a month away from turning two years old. Yes, she is that big now. She has grown so fast that I didn’t even know it. At her age, she knows what she wants, she now starts to scribble, distinguishing colors, shapes and learning slowly her ABC’s. When it comes to movies or shows, plenty of kiddie shows on Netflix that she likes or even in local channels but there is this one movie that she recently loves to watch called Princess Pop star by Disney.

It is a dvd that my sister owns in the Philippines that I asked to bring here in the US since both of my girls, the feeling princesses girls of mine love the movie so much. Last night, Megan have watched it for three times and if it wasn’t time for bed, she wouldn’t stop watching it. Even I, the adult loves this particular Princess movie. It has a lot of singing that I can’t help but sing along. It is a pretty movie to watch for girls.

Corazon – A Horror Tagalog Movie

My little sister has a collection of several pirated foreign and Tagalog movies. One of the Tagalog movies she and my Jadyn watched is the movie titled, Corazon. Jadyn tells me that she is afraid of Corazon which I dislike because I will be in trouble with her dada once we will be back home.

I don’t want my husband to think that I teach her good to be afraid or believe in  ghosts or whatever horror movies she’d seen because those aren’t true.

If you want to have an idea of what Corazon movie is all about, you may read the synopsis below lifted from its original source, Wikipedia.

Corazon revolves around the love story of a married couple during the times of Japanese rule in the Philippines who’s having a hard time conceiving a child. After joining traditional fertility rites in honor of certain patron saints, their prayers are eventually answered but unexpected circumstances will lead to their baby’s death. At which point the conflict of the story will begin.

Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 Official Trailer

Opened November 16,2012 is the most-awaited part 2 of Twilight Breaking Dawn. While many fans headed to the movie theatre, I don’t think I can do that nowadays as I have two kids with me and my friends are far apart from me so there is no way I can watch it anytime soon. I will just wait for it to be available in blu-ray and rent it on Netflix, poor me. At this point, I just have to be contented of the official trailer that I watched on Youtube.

Note: Video embedded is not mine. I share it here so my readers can watch it too.
